Dear Loyal Readers of the Emerald Hills Blog,

Just wanted to let you know that I haven’t abandoned you.  I am having some serious technical difficulties with the website that have been preventing me from accessing the back-end of the site to write new posts.  I literally hacked my way back into the site to post this update.  I hope to have things up and running in a few days, and will get back on track with providing you updates on Emerald Hills real estate.

Thanks for your patience.  Technology is a wonderful thing sometimes….

No homes closed escrow this week, but there was continued strong activity in both new listings and homes going into contract.  Inventory numbers remain on the low side at only 38.  Should be an interesting week coming up.

Inventory Analysis

Emerald Hills is off to a good start in 2010.  After several months of hibernation to end 2009, there are a number of new listings to come on the market and a few homes are actually selling.   Interest rates are low, at least for the time being — maybe that’s the motivation behind the strong push in the new year.
