Who am I?

I am an agent with Alain Pinel Realtors, and have been a resident of the San Francisco Peninsula for 43 years — 25 of which were spent in Emerald Hills. I feel extremely fortunate to have spent my entire youth growing up on California Way, just a stone’s throw from the Cross — I’m a Roy Cloud School alumni (back when it was a sleepy K-6.) Much has changed in Emerald Hills over the years, but it’s still a fantastic place to live.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and I proudly bring 20+ years of successful high-tech sales experience to the real estate field. Why does this matter? This background gives me a unique advantage over other Realtors: Not only do I have a successful track record in negotiating complex multi-million dollar contracts, but I clearly understand and utilize the technology that is driving the real estate market today. This blog is just one example of how I use technology to keep my clients on the leading edge of the market.

What do my clients think of me?

Providing outstanding service is the hallmark of my business.  I strive to ensure that every transaction handled in the utmost professional manner, and that my clients feel thrilled with the service they received.   Here’s just a sample of what some of my clients have said about their experience:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a great job.  You have definitely met my expectations of a professional Realtor.  You kept me completely up to date each step of the way prior to going on the market, while we were on the market, during the open houses, and as the interest of potential buyers grew.  Your professional attitude during the presentation of offers and handling of each agent after we decided on the best offer for us was very assuring to me.  I would not hesitate to recommend you to my family or friends.” — Sharon S.,  San Carlos

Chuck did way over what I expected him to do – even vacuuming the carpets before an open house!  But the best thing about Chuck is that he is a caring, considerate, and helpful – and just an all-around nice guy.   I already told him that if the need arose, I’d use him again. — Joanne E. – San Carlos

Chuck is an incredibly friendly, polite and respectful person with a very accommodating personality, which translates well into his work as a Realtor.  As my Realtor for my first home purchase, Chuck was not only very professional, but very thorough.  He’s well adept at using all forms of technology to get any possible information you may need on a home.  Even though I ended up purchasing in San Bruno, Chuck’s knowledge of the Redwood City / San Carlos area is incredible and allowed me to gauge what would be the best fit in my price range.  He was never pushy and rarely offered his own opinions unless they were asked for. During our escrow period Chuck was on the ball, making sure everything from inspections to the mortgage was taken care of in a prompt and efficient manner.

I’ve been my new home over three weeks and I have Chuck to thank for the great deal I got.  If anyone asks me for advice on a Realtor in the peninsula area, Chuck will be the first person I mention, no doubt about it!! — Ken P.,  San Bruno

I have significant experience working with professionals in the corporate world and I was very impressed by the amount of preparation (Chuck) put into each house hunting trip.  He clearly operates at the highest level of professionalism, and he treated these first time buyers, who are working with a limited budget, as though they were buying the largest piece of property in the Bay Area.   Chuck is an ALL STAR in our eyes.” — Stephen M., Carmel, CA

…Service couldn’t have been better!  Thank you! — David L. and Sally R., Pacifica

———————————————————–

I enjoy cycling, running, and most of all being involved with my family. My wife Patty and I are raising three children in San Carlos, and we’re very involved in community activities. If I’m not showing properties or holding an open house on weekends, you will surely find me coaching or officiating a youth soccer match.

It would be an honor to help you buy or sell a home in the area that I call home. I am just a phone call or an email away…

All the best,

Chuck Gillooley
