The Emerald Hills Blog

This Blog is essentially a free-form compilation of real estate information, general news, and anything else that’s pertinent to the residents of the Emerald Hills area.   You’ll notice a heavier dose on the real estate side, since that seems to be a common topic of interest with everyone.

So, one of the questions I’m frequently asked is….where exactly is Emerald Hills? If you ask 10 different people, you’ll likely get as many answers. However, most people defer to the Planning Commission’s definition, which is outlined in this map:  Emerald Hills Zoning Map

However, for the purpose of this blog, I refer to “Emerald Hills” as the larger, general area that people often refer to just as “the hill.”   This essentially encompasses the area bordered by Farm hill Boulevard, Canada Road, Edgewood Road, and the Alameda. Here’s a map of the area:

Finally, why did I write this Blog? I could always say “because it was there.” But in reality, the reason I wrote this is because it wasn’t there… There’s nothing else out there that I’m aware of that focuses on living in the Emerald Hills area like this blog does. So read, enjoy, and contribute!
